Rare U.S. gold coins includes some of the most beautiful designs ever struck on a coin. Arguably, the most notable example is the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle $20 Gold Piece. Named after it's designer (Augustus Saint-Gaudens), this coin is oft considered the most beautiful design of all US coinage.
